Remembering Ciro Berardi


Ciro Berardi was born on May 11, 1909 in Fano, Pesaro e Urbino, Marche, Italy. Berardi became one of the greatest character actors in the history of Italian cinema appearing in over sixty films between 1939 and 1952 in minor roles. He then became a production manager and retired early from the big screen he returned to his  hometown of Fano, where he died at the age of 52 on November 25, 1961. He’s best remembered for known for his roles in “The Iron Swordsman” (1949) “Tizio, Caio, Sempronio” (1951), “Hello Elephant” (1952). He appeared in only one Euro-western with a cameo as a townsman in “The Kid of the West” (1942).
 
Today we remember Ciro Berardi on what would have been his 105th birthday.
