Happy 80th Birthday Tuccio Musumeci

Tuccio Musumeci was born on April 20, 1934 in Catania, Sicily, Italy. Musumeci started his career in the 1960s, performing in local cabarets and touring companies.

The turning point in his career was when he joined the stage company of the Teatro Stabile di Catania with whom he began acting in plays, mostly comedies, both in Italian and in Sicilian.

Musumeci began working quite extensively in television and theater beginning in 1959. He became less active in films, after a bit part in “The Leopard” (1963). He appeared in a good number of comedy films between 1970s and 1980s, sometimes in leading roles. Among which was his only Euro-western, “Holy Water Joe” (1971) as “The Sicilian”

Today we celebrate Tuccio Musumeci’s 80th birthday.
