Remembering Aldo Rendine


Aldo Rendine was born on March 15, 1917 in Foggia, Italy. He was active in films and TV from 1961 until 1980 making appearances in over 25 films and television series. Always a character actor he was probably best known for his appearance in “A Citizen Above Suspicion” (1970) directed by Elio Petri where he played the part of Nicholas Panunzio. Rendine appeared in two Euro-westerns “A Golden Sheriff” (1966) and “A Man Called Blade” (1977). Aldo died in Rome on December 25, 1987. Today we remember Aldo Rendine on what would have been his 95th birthday.
