Honored Guest Michael Forest

Michael Forest was born Gerald Michael Charlebois in Harvey, North Dakota. Moving to Seattle at an early age he then attended San Jose State University where he excelled in athletics. In 1955 he arrived in Los Angeles and began studying acting with actor/teacher Jeff Corey. He also met Roger Corman who cast him in roles in “The Saga of the Viking Women”, Roger’s brother Gene Corman cast him in “Beast from Haunted Cave”. He followed this up with “Ski Troop Attack” in 1959 and “Atlas” in 1960. From 1968 until 1978 Forest lived in Rome and made films in Italy, France and Spain among them four Spaghetti Westerns, “100 Rifles” (1969), “The Last Rebel” (1971), “Death Played the Flute” and “Now They Call Him Sacramento” both in 1972. Michael still makes film appearances and does much voice dubbing. Michael will be a member of our distinguished panel of Spaghetti Western participants at the 1st Los Angeles Spaghetti Western Festival on March 19.

    so many interests in the TV series, I remember one in particular "Star Trek" in 1967 where he played the Greek god "Apollo."
